Pushing the limits to live your dreams
Katie Visco may not be a household name, but her ultra-running accomplishments are mind-blowing. In 2009, Katie ran 3,132 miles solo across the United States from Boston to San Diego. At the age of 23, she became the second youngest and 13th woman to run that route. Ten years later, Katie ran 2,112 miles over 119 days across Australia. Cultivating a Safe Space for Women to Discover Endurance Sports
Events like Life Time Her Summit are important for growing the sport we love and welcoming newer athletes. For those of us who have been biking for years, we tend to forget what it was like to be a newbie.
Stand Up and Advocate for Change
As a child my parents always instilled in me to stand up for what I believe in and if I see something wrong, speak up. I’ve embraced their teachings throughout my life. Sometimes it wasn’t popular, but more often than not it brought about change. I’m by all means not in the ranks of GretaContinue reading “Stand Up and Advocate for Change”
